HADDAM VETERANS' MUSEUM
HONOR ANY VETERAN WHO SERVED IN ANY BRANCH OF OUR ARMED FORCES
The Haddam Veterans Museum is pleased to offer an opportunity to purchase an engraved brick to be placed in our Veterans' Memorial Walk. To be eligible, a Veteran must be honorably discharged or currently serving in any branch of the military. Also, families of a deceased veteran honorably discharged may purchase an engraved brick.
Only one engraved brick is allowed per eligible veteran unless they served in more than one branch of the military, or were in more than one war or conflict. The bricks are available for war time and peace time veterans.
The only acceptable format will include the veteran's name, rank, branch of service, dates of service, theater of service, location of service, ship, fort or other military information which pertains.
Note: This is not a fundraiser. The engraved bricks will be sold for cost. They are 4"x8"x2" with the engraving filled to the face of the brick and covered with protective coatings to ensure longevity. All brick orders are subject to approval by the Museum committee.
The cost per brick is $40 including shipping and handling. (prices subject to change for engraving costs) Contact Rick Annino for any information and order form. Copies of the order form are available at the Town Office Building.
The bricks can be viewed outside the Veterans' Museum on Candlewood Hill Road, in Higganum Center.
