Haddam Social Services

The mission of this office is to enhance the quality of life for Haddam residents and the self-sufficiency of those in need of Social Services. We provide advocacy, leadership, and planning while fostering independence among our vulnerable population. Through state and local services, the Social Service department is here for our residents.

The Haddam Emergency Fuel, Food and Clothing Bank provide emergency relief for limited basic needs and is available during office hours.

The Haddam Emergency Food, Fuel, & Clothing bank can be accessed Tuesdays 9:00am - 2:00pm / Thursdays 9:00am-6:00pm. Mondays and Wednesday by appointment. The Haddam Emergency Fuel, Food and Clothing Bank provide emergency relief for limited basic needs and is available during office hours.

During Thanksgiving and Christmas we provide holiday food baskets to families in need.  Food Bank list and referrals are taken from schools, churches, family, friends, and sometimes, directly from the person in need.
