Please note: The Haddam River Days committee encourages businesses and organizations to get actively involved in Haddam River Days. Some examples: a clown at your booth, free handouts, a contest to win a prize, a drawing for a prize, or anything else you can think of!

 

Date: Saturday, September 6, 2008, Rain date, Sunday, September 7, 2008
Time: Noon to Dusk
Place: Haddam Meadows State Park
Vendor fee: A copy of the fee schedule is attached - tables, chairs, etc are the vendor’s responsibility
Electrical hook-up will be available in the food area only and must be requested and paid for at the time of reservation. All food vendors will receive electricity first, then if room allows, businesses and organizations will receive electricity on a first-come, first-serve basis for a small fee.
Set-up and Removal: All vendors will receive a confirmation with an assigned space number. All vendors may enter Haddam Meadows at 8:30 am, and must be set-up by 11:30 am. All vehicles must be removed from the field and parked in the appropriate vendor lot by 11:00 am. All booths must remain set-up until 6:00pm. If you wish to remain longer, this is no problem, but please note that if you decide to stay after 8:00 pm, you will not be able to break-down your booth until after the fireworks display.
Portable toilets: Portable toilets will be located at Haddam Meadows for your convenience.
Trash removal and clean-up: Containers will be provided in several areas for collecting trash. All vendors should monitor trash in their area and keep the area picked up. A dumpster will be available for your use.
Parking and vehicles: You will receive a parking pass for designated vendor parking with your confirmation letter.
Tents and Canopies: Any participant using their own tent or canopy must use heavy weight tie-down ropes anchored with material heavy enough to keep it down.
Information Center: On the day of the event all inquiries should be referred to the designated information booth which is the Haddam River Days committee booth.
Haddam River Day’s committee members will be wearing identifiable attire.

Fee Schedule (2008)
The following fees will apply to all participants:
Local non-profit organization selling food $55.00 (includes electricity and tent space)
Local non-profit organization selling merchandise free
Local non-profit organization with no sales free
Haddam Business selling food $75.00 (includes electricity and tent space)
Haddam Business selling merchandise $50.00
Haddam Business with no sales $10.00
Out of town food vendor $100.00
Out of town business or organization selling merchandise $75.00
Out of town business or organization with no sales $10.00
Craft show participants $25.00
Tag sale participants $10.00
Electricity (if space allows) an additional $20.00
Surcharge for Novelties $25.00

Donations can be made to the Town of Haddam River Days and mailed to 30 Field Park Drive, Haddam, CT 06438. Also available for sale at the Town Office Building are note cards, sweatshirts and tote bags. Proceeds from the sale of these items help fund Haddam River Days.
