D. & H. Scovil: The Early Years Including the Manufacturing of Gun Barrels

Scovil company records, this time focusing on the early years of the 1840s when Daniel and Hezekiah Scovil started their firm. Interestingly, like their father Hezekiah Scovil Sr., they also manufactured gun barrels before concentrating primarily on the planters hoe. Free admission and light refreshments.
