Haddam Town Committees need volunteers!

The Town of Haddam has vacancies to fill on the following: 

Abandoned Vehicle Hearing Officer (Vacant - need 2 members) 

Per Ordinance 251: consists of the Vehicle Enforcement Officer and two regular volunteers and one alternate volunteer who live in the Town who are are appointed by the Board of Selectman. The Vehicle Enforcement Officer is the Zoning Enforcement Officer of the Town of Haddam. 

Economic Development Commission (2 vacancies) 

Per Ordinance: the commission, upon approval of the Selectmen, shall conduct research into the economic conditions and trends in the Town and make recommendations to appropriate officials and agencies of the Town concerning actions to improve the Town's economic conditions and development. The Commission shall seek to coordinate the activities of and cooperate with unofficial bodies organized to promote economic development. The Commission may advertise, and may prepare, print and distribute books, charts and pamphlets which in its judgment will further its official purposes and which are within the limits of the Commissions appropriations.
