Taxpayer Information Requests

The Assessor's Office is here to assist taxpayers looking for information relative to property within the Town of Haddam.  If you are looking for information about a single property, real estate can be located under the Assessor's Field Card page; GIS information is also available and can be printed from home. A full bound copy of the current Grand List, and all prior Grand Lists, is located in the Town Clerk's Vault in the Town Office Building.   Our office also has the capability to print property record cards, maps and other property data.  The cost for copies is 50 cents per page, for standard sizes.  Large format prints of maps are also available, the fee for these range from $2.00 to $5.00 per page, depending on the size.  

If you are interested in getting more detailed information about multiple properties; we are also glad to assist, but requests of this nature take time to accomplish.  We will need a request in writing (email is fine) with the information you are looking for and the timeline you are working with and what format you are looking to have the information returned.  Please understand that these types of requests take a substantial amount of time to create the queries, extract the data, and format it to your request.  Depending on the timing of your request, it may take us up to two weeks to complete the task; especially during the months of October through February when our office is finalizing the Grand List.

For these reason, we must charge a nominal fee for these types of requests.  The fee depends on the amount of data requested and start at $10.00.  We can also assist with mailing labels and printing, and, in addition to the extract fee, you would be responsible for the cost of the materials.
