Committee on Aging, SENIOR PICNIC

COA (Committee on Aging) Senior Picnic 

The Haddam COA is sponsoring a “Senior Picnic” this year on Monday June 20th

It will occur at the Haddam Neck Fair grounds between 11:30 and 2 PM. We’ll have entertainment. Bring your Frisbee or Hula Hoop!

Menu, it’s a “picnic” so it will be hot dogs & Hamburgs, salad, soft drinks (lemon aid, ice tea), desert.

You will need to reserve a spot(s) by giving us a refundable $5 deposit, which you can do in two ways:

- Beth Hartke: she’ll take your deposit at the Club 60 meetings that are held at the Haddam Community Center 7 Candlewood Hill Road, Higganum the 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month, or via snail mail to 56 Landing Road Higganum 06441

- Senior Center: Colleen Totman, that facilities Coordinator at 923 Saybrook Road will accept your $5 deposit.

- Be sure to indicate if you desire a ride to Haddam Neck.

Transportation:

- For folks with mobility issues please reserve a ride in the Senior Center van

o Call Colleen at 860-345-2480

- Others who want a ride should tell Beth or Colleen

o A bus will leave the Higganum Green before 10:45 that day.
