The Friends of Brainerd Memorial Library would like to announce our:
Spring Book Sale planned for April 3rd, 4th & 6th
The Book sale will begin Friday, April 3rd from 10 am until 6 pm. The Book and Bake sale will continue Saturday, April 4th until 4 pm. On Monday, April 6th remaining items will be offered at special prices from 10 am – 8 pm.
The Friends always accept books and DVDs, but request patrons help contribute by bringing their donations throughout the winter.
Please make sure that all items are saleable [not soiled, yellowed, moldy, or damaged] and gently used!
Check out our bookstore! The Book Nook is located behind the non-fiction section of the Library at 920 Saybrook Rd. Stop in and browse, relax in our comfy chairs, have a coffee or tea and take advantage of our monthly sales. We have: DVDs, CDs, paperbacks, hardcover fiction and non-fiction books [over 4000 titles!] There are always special items, like DVD TV series, unique books, BML merchandise, and book safes!
Open during library hours: We accept cash, checks, plastic, and PayPal. Friends’ funds support library programs and events, and materials, technology, and furnishing purchases.
The BML website and Facebook pages post our sales and events.
The Friends will also require the assistance of some teens and adults to move books for the sale. Please email Robbie at rmarshall@brainerdlibrary.org to sign up.
